New Delhi [India], May 21 (ANI): Bansuri Swaraj, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday expressed confidence in India’s continued progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
“Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India will continue to progress and advance,” Swaraj stated.
After visiting the Hanuman temple for the Mangal Aarti on the auspicious Tuesday, Swaraj shared her gratitude and optimism.
“Today, I visited the Hanuman temple for the Mangal Aarti. I did not ask for anything; I just thanked Baba and sought the blessings of Balaji Maharaj. It has been around 78 days of campaigning, and I am here to express my gratitude for the love and blessings from the people. With Hanuman Ji’s grace, we will surely achieve victory in this race, and the people of Delhi will give BJP all 7 seats,” Swaraj said.
Bansuri Swaraj daughter of late Union Minister Sushma Swaraj is contesting against, AAP’s MLA Somnath Bharti.
In a similar vein, Praveen Khandelwal, the BJP candidate from the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat, echoed the party’s confidence in a sweeping victory.
“We are winning all seven seats of Delhi with a full majority. We are going to form our government. In the coming 5 years, Sanatan will be protected, Hindu religion will be protected and Gau Mata will be protected,” Khandelwal said.

Khandelwal also visited the Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place, where he prayed for a significant mandate.
“I prayed to Lord Hanuman that this time we win a big mandate by winning more than 400 seats and a government be formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and everyone moves forward for victory and works for the country,” Khandelwal said.
Khandelwal is pitted against Congress’ JP Agarwal in Chandni Chowk.
Both BJP candidates have shown a unified front and strong faith in their party’s prospects.
Voting in Delhi for all seven Lok Sabha seats will be held in a single phase on May 25.
Congress and AAP are in a 3:4 seat-sharing agreement in Delhi. Notably, the AAP and Congress “mutually agreed” to go solo in Punjab, but are a part of the INDIA bloc and are fighting in alliance in Delhi.
Voting for the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections concluded on Monday across all 49 parliamentary constituencies spanning eight States and Union Territories with a voter turnout of 57.51 per cent.
According to the poll body, West Bengal recorded the highest voter turnout (73 per cent), followed by Ladakh (67.15 per cent), Jharkhand (63.00 per cent), Odisha (60.72 per cent), Uttar Pradesh (57.79 per cent), Jammu and Kashmir (54.67 per cent), Bihar (52.60 per cent) and Maharashtra (49.01 per cent).
