Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 16 (ANI): Ahead of participating in the seventh edition of Regional Industry Conclave, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi his government has resolved to double the economy of the state.
The seventh edition of Regional Industry Conclave is going to be held at University Institute of Technology (UIT) in Shahdol on Thursday, aiming to promote regional industries with cooperation and collaboration.
“I am happy that to improve our economy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking the country forward and under his leadership, we have also resolved to double the economy of the state. Today, I am going to attend the Regional Industry Conclave in Shahdol. It is a big meeting of industrial investment at the divisional level in which we have called all types of investors and are getting different types of new investment proposals. We are receiving investment proposals for all the sectors, be it tourism, health, mining, heavy industry, MSME etc,” CM Yadav said.
Additionally, the bhoomi pujan and inauguration works under the investment MoU signed during the previously held Regional Industry Conclaves will be continued. Investment proposals of over Rs 4 lakh crores have been received in the six editions of conclaves held so far, the Chief Minister said, adding that over 3 lakh employment opportunities would be generated.
“We hope that in the coming times, Madhya Pradesh will create a different kind of identity, especially emerging strong economically. I extend my greeting to the people of the state. We are also preparing for the upcoming Global Investor Summit scheduled to be held in February and hope that it will break all records till now,” he added.
