New Delhi [India], August 28 (ANI): The election of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Wards Committees and one member to the Standing Committee from the Wards Committee of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will be held on September 4, 2024, a press release said.
According to the release, the election will take place at Hansraj Gupta Auditorium (First Floor) and Satya Narayan Bansal Sabhagar (Second Floor), A-Block, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Civic Centre.
The process of filling nominations has started on Wednesday. The last date for filing nominations is Friday, August 30, by 5 pm.
The elections will be held following the procedure laid down in the Delhi Municipal Corporation (Procedure & Conduct of Business) Regulations, 1958. (ANI)
