Thimphu [Bhutan], June 14 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 has struck Bhutan, a statement by the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
As per the NCS, the earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 10km on late Friday, making it susceptible to aftershocks.
In a post on X, the NCS said, “EQ of M: 3.5, On: 13/06/2025 20:42:36 IST, Lat: 27.14 N, Long: 89.11 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Bhutan.”

While Bhutan acknowledges the high earthquake risk, there is a lack of a comprehensive and official disaster management system in place.
