7 killed as car plunges into canal in Haryana’s Kaithal – World News Network

Kaithal (Haryana) [India], October 12 (ANI): Seven members of a family were killed after the car they were traveling in fell into a canal near Mundri in Haryana’s Kaithal district on Saturday, police said.
The deceased include four girl children and three women, police said adding that they have information that one girl is missing after the incident. A rescue operation is going on, they said.

“We received the information that a family going to a fair, their car fell into a canal near Mundri in which seven family members died, only the driver is alive. We have this information that one girl is missing. We are not confirmed about it and a rescue operation is going on,” Lalit Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, told reporters.
“Out of 7 deceased – four are girl children and 3 are adult women. The reason behind this incident is being investigated,” he said. (ANI)
